Every project I take on, whether it's a home, an event, or a table full of food, starts from the same place: what does this space or moment need in order to feel true to the people it belongs to?

It's a question I've been circling for fifteen years now, just through different work. I started in merchandising at Anthropologie, learning how a space tells a story before a single word is spoken. From there I moved into high-end wedding design, then spent years running my own clothing brand, building something from nothing and learning what it actually takes to bring an idea into the world. Interiors and catering are where all of that landed.

Interiors, events, and food might look like three different businesses. To me, they're one practice, applied in different expressions. Every part of EMLEE.h comes back to the same instinct: pay attention, use what's human, and build something that makes people feel more at home and more like themselves, whether that's in their living room or at the table.
